The 2023 Surrey Fiesta Extravaganza, sponsored by FCCHS was a huge success with more than 10,000 attendees over the summer weekend celebrating Filipino culture, heritage and traditions.

The Surrey Civic Plaza was alive with vibrant colors, performances, and a remarkable sense of community as the Surrey Fiesta Extravaganza 2023 made its grand debut last July 22-23, 2023, sponsored by The Bank of Montreal (BMO), Vancouver Oasis and Fil-Can Cultural Society (FCCHS) as title sponsors. The event, which showcased the rich and diverse Filipino culture, was a resounding success, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of attendees and marking a historic milestone as the first-ever Fiesta Extravaganza event in Metro Vancouver.

One of the major highlights of the two-day celebration was the mesmerizing performance of Yam Concepcion, a frequent FE artist known for captivating audiences with her incredible talent and magnetic stage presence. Yam’s presence undoubtedly enticed a massive crowd to gather at Surrey Civic Plaza!

Throughout the festivities, attendees were treated to a diverse lineup of exceptional performers who showcased the essence of Filipino-Canadian talent and artistry. Sheela Kunishige, Ardyanna Ducusin, The Pelayo Siblings, and Rossinite Music were among the gifted performers who graced the stage, leaving the audience in awe with their performances.
